Consumer advocacy

In 2011, I advocated against rising health insurance rates in California. My work included short public speeches, newspaper editorials, and media interviews. I was quoted in a variety of media outlets and later invited to speak at the California state capitol, at the launch of CA State Assembly Bill AB52. This experience really took me out of my comfort zone, but it was quite rewarding.
